Our goal is to reach out to fellow Christians and new believers around the world to share the gospel and to expand upon and understand better, the Lord's teachings.Seek and you will find, ask and it will be given, knock and the door will be opened. The Lord will help you with your problems if you ask.We are a family friendly site and we would welcome you to become one of our family. Come in and take a load off your mind, worship and pray with us.

We encourage our visitors to look around the site and please leave questions or comments. If you need to talk to somebody or have a question,be assured that whatever you talk about will be held in the strictest confidence. Under the guidance of our Lord we are here to help those who want help.

                        Matthew 7  Statement of Faith

-Salvation and Eternal life are not possible without accepting Jesus as our Lord and Saviour which we achieve by repenting our sins

-As much as possible we will consciously live a Christ like life.

-Daily prayer is a vital part of our Christian belief and we should not always be asking for things but should be thanking and praising the Lord.

-We are all ministers, disciples, and fishers of men and as such our mission is to reach out to the lost, lonely, and confused.

-We believe in and try to abide by the Ten Commandments

-Our faith is based on a belief in the Trinity, a oneness consisting of the Father, the Son, and The Holy Spirit.

-We don’t dwell on the past, we learn from our mistakes and move towards a positive future. Christ is always pictured moving forward towards the future.

-We will commit sins but we will be forgiven if we are sincere in our contrition. God will forgive our sins but we must also forgive the sins committed against us.

-We will try to live our lives by the rule, “ Love your neighbour as you love yourself.” for as it is written, “ If you love someone, you will never do him wrong; to love, is to obey the whole law.” To love your neighbour was Christ's commandment.

-As God is our creator, we will accept everyone as an equal.

-We do not adhere to any “proper” way of worshiping. Rites and ceremonies should reflect the need of the individual and the love they have for the Lord.

                                 Stressing the Positive
Christ is a very positive individual and His teachings are very positive in nature. Matthew7 works hard to stress the positive elements in Christianity as we believe that the more positive we are, the better the world will be, for through the positive we eliminate the negative which is evil. Christ's only commandment can be found in John 25:12 "This is my commandment, that you love one another, as I have loved you". Love is the ultimate in positive emotions and we do everything in our power to emphasise this, even to the point of looking at the Ten Commandments in a positive context(see below). People are more receptive to a positive approach rather than a negative one and teaching theories prove that the positive stays with a person longer than a negative one. Rather than teaching people the punishments and negatives of not knowing our Lord Christ Jesus we believe in teaching people about the benefits and rewards of a life dedicated to Christ. Matthew7 is based on why you should be with the Lord and not the hell fire and damnation principles of not knowing Him. You should want to walk with the Lord because you want to and not because you are afraid if you don't.

The Ten Commandments Positively

Above all else love God alone;
Bow down to neither wood nor stone.
God's name refuse to take in vain;
The Sabbath rest with care maintain.
Respect your parents all your days;
Hold sacred human life always.
Be loyal to your chosen mate;
Steal nothing, neither small nor great.
Report, with truth, your neighbour's deed;
And rid your mind of selfish greed.
